Hi, Dr Chaudri Bilingual Respiratory Physician UK Wide here from Medico-Legal and Neuroscience Partnership. I am a proud Consultant Respiratory Physician and I work with the legal team at Medico-Legal and Neuroscience Partnership to produce high quality medico-legal reports for Claimant and Defence cases. I was appointed as a Consultant in January 2004 in this busy Teaching hospital, affiliated to the University of Birmingham. I am on call for respiratory admissions every 5th day. I am the lead for Respiratory Audit and Oxygen services and chair the Mortality meetings. I was instrumental in setting up our EBUS service. I was a member of the BTS Interventional Procedures Specialist Advisory Group from December 2015 to March 2017.
I have a special interest in new practical procedures such as EBUS, Thoracoscopy and Indwelling Pleural Catheter insertion. I have over 20 years’ experience in bronchoscopy and in treating a wide range of respiratory conditions. I used to sit on the British Thoracic Society Specialist Advisory Group on Interventional Procedures, which provides expert opinion to NICE, amongst others. I undertake Lung Cancer peer review on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement. I achieved the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate (CUBS) in 2018.
I undertake instructions as an expert witness, including the preparation of medico-legal reports and giving evidence in court, in cases related to these areas of expertise. I work with the helpful legal team at SM Legal Services to make sure my reports are perfect for the court.
