Hello, Mr CD Urological Surgeon based in Peterborough here from SM Legal Services Medico-Legal and Neuroscience Partnership. I trained at University College, London and qualified in 1986 having taken an intercalated BSc in Immunology. Following my FRCS examination in 1990 I undertook a surgical registrar rotation in Portsmouth before starting his MS thesis at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London working for Mr HN Whitfield. On completion of my MS thesis I began my higher training in Urology at the Battle Hospital, Reading, moving on to the Institute of Urology in London, and then to Peterborough. During my time as a Senior Registrar in Peterborough I co-authored the ABC of Urology with Hugh Whitfield.
Alongside my duties as a Urological Surgeon I have I have run both the Madrid and Paris Marathons and competed in 4 Olympic-distance Triathlons. On 11th May 2013 I completed the Mallorca 70.3 Half Ironman Triathlon in a time of 7hrs 23mins and 32 seconds. Since then I have completed the Half Ironman race on 7 separate occasions.
I was appointed Consultant Urologist in 1996 and then proceeded to take on medico-legal work and prepare reports for the court which I work with the team at SM Legal Services to get the reports done. As a Urological Surgeon medico-legal expert I specialise in the following areas:
- Prostate Cancer
- Lower urinary tract symptoms
