Hi, Dr Gordon Mazibrada Consultant Neurologist here. I am one of the Consultant Neurologists who works very closely with the legal team at Medico-Legal and Neuroscience Partnership on a day to day basis. My current position is Consultant Neurologists at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Good Hope Hospital, University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham.
To confirm my status on the medical register I am registered with the General Medical Council (GMC No. 4591955). Alongside being GMC registered I am also on the Specialist Register for Neurology from 26/10/06. I am a member of the Association of British Neurologists. I am also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Alongside my Medico-Legal work and NHS duties I have also been appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham in October 2011. I am also a medical student examiner.
My Medico-Legal work commenced in 2011 writing Medico-legal reports to provide a Neurological opinion to the court for Claimant and Defence cases. I run multiple sclerosis clinics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and general neurology clinics at Good Hope Hospital. I have broad interests in all the neurological sub-specialties.
